The Battle in the Dark-rapporten 2025, udarbejdet af Signicat og cybersikkerhedsekspert Lisa Forte, afslører en markant forskel mellem virksomheders selvtillid og deres reelle beredskab mod svindel.
Rapporten bygger på indsigter fra 900 beslutningstagere inden for bekæmpelse af svindel på tværs af Europa og afslører oversete trusler, tabt omsætning og forældede forsvarsmekanismer — og understreger behovet for hurtig handling for at forebygge identitetssvindel og styrke beskyttelsen.
De fleste virksomheder tror, de er foran på identitetssvindel
Men i virkeligheden flyver de i blinde:
→ 59 % rapporterer en stigning i succesfuld svindel
→ 1 ud af 5 transaktioner og onboardingforløb er ondartet svindel
→ Kun 45 % måler effekten af svindel
→ 22 % af omsætningen er påvirket af identitetssvindel og forebyggelsesindsatser
→ 80 % siger, at svindlere tilpasser sig, når de bliver blokeret
→ 74 % mener, de vinder — på trods af tallene
