Signicat Dashboard and testing Privacy Statement
At Signicat, we value your privacy. The main section of this privacy statement describes which personal data Signicat collects from you, how Signicat processes personal data, and why Signicat collects the personal data in connection with Signicat's provision of the Signicat Dashboard and testing of Signicat products.
Signicat Dashboard and testing
Signicat Dashboard represents the self-service interface that Signicat offers its customers to allow them to manage their services. It allows customers to onboard with Signicat, test the products in a sandbox environment, as well as configure and manage their products in a production environment; everything through one main gateway called Signicat Dashboard.
As far as possible Signicat encourage to always use synthetic and test data when testing products. This is to reduce the exposure of your Personal Identifiable Information (PII).
Purpose of processing
To provide access to the Signicat Dashboard and make its functionality available Signicat collects personal data from the Dashboard user. The processing is necessary for the performance of the contract to use Signicat Dashboard and testing of Signicat products available via Signicat Dashboard.
When you sign-up or someone from your organisation signs you up for the Dashboard, Signicat collects and stores your personal data that you provide to us. We use your personal data to grant you access to the Dashboard and create user accounts within the Dashboard to ensure security of the Dashboard. In addition, Signicat process your data and the data you provide during your testing of Signicat products.
Signicat can also use your personal data for identifying you in case of account recovery and if we need to contact you with information about the Signicat Dashboard and the services we make available to you through the Dashboard.
If you procure our services via the Signicat Dashboard we use your personal data to invoice you or your organisation.
Signicat also collects and stores your personal data if you consent to us using your personal data to contact you about Signicat’s services and offerings.
Tracking
Signicat stores functional cookies which are used to enhance the performance and usability of the Dashboard for the user, such as login data.
Data Categories for Dashboard functionality
Signicat can process the following categories of personal data if and when they are provided to us by you or your organisation:
- Email address
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
- Data retention
Signicat keeps your data for as long as you or your organisation uses our services.
If you or your organisation makes a request to delete your account, we will remove your account and all (personal) data associated with it from our systems within 30 days.
Third-Party access for Dashboard functionality
We engage various third parties to provide you with the Signicat Dashboard and associated services. We can share your personal data with these third parties, subject to appropriate security measures. These third parties are:
- CRM system provider
- Marketing system provider
- Hosting provider
- Invoicing provider
- Analytics provider
- Your rights
Data Categories for Sandbox
Signicat will process all PII that you include when testing Signicat products. This could among other things be;
- document content you upload for signature,
- content of ID documents,
- such as passports,
- ID-cards, identification attributes in an eID method,
- etc.
Signicat emphasis that the Sandbox environment is designed to be tested using test documents and synthetic data, however there are some products and third-party integrations that does not support or are controllable which would result in us potentially processing PII in the Sandbox environment.
The test data will be removed after a retention of 30 days.
Sub processors
Google Cloud Platform is hosting Signicat Dashboard additionally, some services are hosted by AWS and Orange Business Services. Additionally, there are third-party integration providers that you may use depending on the service you are testing.
